Delay reorder animation

To make it easier to reorder an item multiple times I'd like to have the animation delay. Maybe the number updates so I can tell the position before the animation?

Example: I want to move the position from 1->50. I have to click and find the button again 50 times.

    Is this for reordering tracks in an album, albums between sections...?

        Would this be solved by being able to drag/drop sections to reorder them?

        0.3 implements the up/down buttons to swap a section; I assume drag/drop would work better in this use case -- without drag/drop, it would require clicking "down" 50 times still, even if there was an animation delay?
